Joshua Smith is the owner of WYKR FM 101.3 and WTWN AM 1100, operating under Yankee Kingdom Media Corp.
His journey has taken him around the world, from joining the Peace Corps to working with Doctors Without Borders.
After operating a successful podcast series and internet radio station focused on Vermont authors and artists, Joshua acquired WYKR and WTWN in 2023.
He brings a wealth of experiences and a fresh perspective to the role of station owner, envisioning an expanded online presence and deeper community engagement.

From a five-year-old with a knack for entertaining to a career in country radio, Chris has always been driven to make people laugh and smile—turning a lifelong love of music (sparked at a Garth Brooks concert) into a passion for sharing country’s best, from the legends to today’s stars.

From working at the legendary Gilley’s nightclub during the Urban Cowboy craze to a lifelong love of country music, Rich has seen the genre evolve but remains drawn to its real stories and real people—whether it’s Willie and George or today’s stars. When he’s not on the air, he and his wife Fran escape to the beach whenever life (and their busy blended family) allows it!
